Handcrafted jewelry made in Greenville, S.C. Working from her home studio, Kara Mavar creates unique pieces using sterling silver, 14K gold fill, brass, copper and aluminum wire. She also incorporates natural stones, leather and other unique pieces into many of her designs. Kara specializes in the cold-connection technique of wire-wrapping. She has a background as an art student which helps her create jewelry designs that are well balanced and visually pleasing. Each piece that Kara creates is skillfully crafted with the utmost attention to detail.

Blue Mustang Picture Jasper, Set in Oxidized .925 Silver, Necklace

This necklace features an earthy Blue Mustang jasper stone set in a simple .925 silver bezel setting with a hand stamped frame. The silver has been oxidized. The pendant currently hangs on a Rollo 18” silver chain with a handcrafted hook closure.

The entire pendant measures approximately50mm tall and 17mm wide. The stone component of the necklace is approximately 27mm tall and 12mm wide.

The fourth photo shows the hook closure, but the chain shown in the photo is not the same chain included with the necklace.

Need a shorter or longer chain? Please email me. I’m happy to make that adjustment for you although, an increase in length will be an additional charge.
