Handcrafted jewelry made in Greenville, S.C. Working from her home studio, Kara Mavar creates unique pieces using sterling silver, 14K gold fill, brass, copper and aluminum wire. She also incorporates natural stones, leather and other unique pieces into many of her designs. Kara specializes in the cold-connection technique of wire-wrapping. She has a background as an art student which helps her create jewelry designs that are well balanced and visually pleasing. Each piece that Kara creates is skillfully crafted with the utmost attention to detail.

Polychrome Jasper, Set in Oxidized.925 Silver, Long Necklace

This eye-catching necklace features a grayish blue and terra cotta colored polychrome jasper stone that is set in a simple .925 silver bezel setting and is accented with a long tassel design. The silver has been oxidized. The necklace is 28” long and features a Rolo chain with a handcrafted hook closure.

The entire pendant measures approximately 3 3/4” tall and 1 5/16” at the widest point. The stone component of the necklace is approximately 34mm tall and 30mm wide.

The third photo shows the hook closure, but the chain shown in the photo is not the same chain included with the necklace.

Need a shorter or longer chain? Please email me. I’m happy to make that adjustment for you although, an increase in length will be an additional charge.
